I like to make crockpot meals because it makes life so much easier. After working all day a lot of times I just want to relax and not spend all night cooking. It’s such a pleasure to come home and know that all I have to do is make some quick side dishes. This recipe is very simple and uses bone broth for added health benefits. This meal goes great with potatoes and vegetables.

Fast- * (*****) 8 hours in crockpot, quick for actual dinner time
Spicy- no



1.5-2.5 lb chicken thighs
1 tbsp raw honey
½ yellow onion, chopped
1 tbsp lemon juice
2 ½ cups bone broth
1 tsp thyme
½ tsp marjoram
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp rosemary
salt and pepper, to taste


1. Put chicken in crockpot
2. Put onions around chicken
3. Rub honey onto chicken
4. Pour lemon juice over honey
5. Pour in broth
6. Sprinkle spices over chicken
7. Cook on low 8 hours
